MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) -- Russian companies produced 367.952 tonnes of gold in 2019, an about 12% increase on the year, as seen by PRIME on Thursday in materials of the Union of Gold Producers of Russia.
Mined gold output went up 9.5% to 286.563 tonnes, by-product gold production increased by 17.4% to 18.134 tonnes, and production of gold from processing of scrap and waste rose 11.6% to 38.487 tonnes. Output of gold in concentrates jumped by 45.7% to 24.768 tonnes.
The union expects production of gold in Russia standing at 350 tonnes in 2019 including 314 tonnes of primary metal, of which mined gold should have accounted for 280 tonnes, by-product gold for 17 tonnes, and gold in concentrates for 17 tonnes.
